You can access your students' grades, attendance, and other academic information by creating an account in PowerSchool. Please call or email our registrar Stephanie Silvia (ssilvia@edkey.org) to get your student's account information.


If you have not already done so, the administration and staff at American Heritage Academy would like you to take advantage of web access to your student(s). Parents and guardians can create their own user name and password, and then link each of their attending children to this one account.

Do not create a new account if you created a "Single Sign-on" account previously. If you have forgotten the password, we can email a temporary one so that you can reset your password. If you have a new student attending, please add to your current single sign-on account.


Please follow the steps below to set up an account.
1. If you have multiple children attending, you should have a copy of this letter for each of them available before proceeding.
2. Open the internet browser on your computer.
3. Type https://edkey.powerschool.com into the address bar.
4. Choose the option to 'Create Account' (lightly blue tab; then blue button).
5. Complete the blank fields paying special attention to the requirements for the password. (This will be your own customer User Name and Password that you create).
6. Under 'Link Students to Account', enter your student name exactly as shown on this letter, your Access ID, the password (please reach out to our registrar - Stephanie Silvia at ssilvia@edkey.org to get this info), and select the relationship from the pull down menu
7. You will be able to enter multiple students in your account. Repeat for each child to be connected to this account by using the information printed on their corresponding letter.
8. Click on the Blue 'Enter' Button at the bottom of the page.

You may track academic progress from any device that has internet access (computer, tablet, smart phone).
The Grades and Attendance tab will allow you to check assignments and scores by clicking on the blue percentage
across from a class. To email the teacher a question or concern, please click the blue teacher's name link.
Under the 'Email Notification' you can choose how often you receive emails pertaining to grades, attendance, etc.
The email you choose to use for your account does not have to be the one we show as your contact email, however
we need you to notify the school office if you want your contact email updated. We would like to be able to notify
you of upcoming events and this will only be through the email address on file with the school office.
